Hi, I'm Becka (or Rebecca) - I'm an NSF MPS-Ascend postdoc fellow at Villanova University, though I'm also affiliated with UW Seattle.
I work in time domain astronomy on accreting compact objects. I love nonlinear dynamics and data science and try to make use of both in my research.
Also, I'm on the job market. Hit me up if there's a physics/astro department in roughly the mid-atlantic area looking for a tenure-track high-energy astrophysicist! 🖖

@jegpeek I've done some traditional machine learning classification and clustering and I'm currently working on building a CNN to do image classification with the Zwicky Transient Facility
