Looking at other people's Followers so often simply shows an empty result, even if a significant number was shown in the profile. What's the point of the profile Followers / Following in an app when it's always virtually empty?

So much this! Is this a feature or a bug? Can't seem to find any logic as to why this happens?
@Jarlethorsen I don't get this. Is it because it always uses cached federated info, and never gets updated from the source? I don't see why the user has to click through to a web browser on another site to see the updated info. I guess it should either be fetched by my mastodon server from the remote site and cached there, or even pulled directly by my client from that site. As it is, it's useless.
@Jarlethorsen actually, even looking at a user on my own site qoto.org, a user that has lots of follows/followers simply show empty lists.
Is it like that for you as well, or could it be an issue on qoto?
@Jarlethorsen maybe I was just really unlucky. Found a random user on the local feed, and follows/followers are plenty but lists are empty. Is this a user setting?
