Wow... #ElonMusk is apparently very worried about #Mastodon taking his customers.
I merely replied to #EltonJohn's tweet that he was leaving #TheBirdSite with an invite to join us here, and my tweet got FLAGGED for "Sensitive Content."
I think the only people "sensitive" about this content are the folks worried about losing customers to the competition.
I did appeal the warning, btw. But I doubt it will have any effect besides getting me kicked off, or at least the tweet will be removed.
Oh, well.
Here was what I wrote in my appeal. I was tempted to be snarky, but tried to stick to facts.

I don’t understand why people still have accounts there, is this some new form of Stockholm Syndrome 🤷🏻♀️ The Twitter you knew no longer exists and never will again. The one thing that will ensure it’s survival as a right wing cesspit, is if good and sane people keep their accounts alive…Elton John is hopefully a precursor to many more people leaving.
@TheMorrigan @AnneTheWriter Whether the accounts are used or not, people DO need to keep them, especially if they had any kind of following. Otherwise, the username will go back into circulation in 30 days, and they could be impersonated.
@TheMorrigan @AnneTheWriter Lock, yes, but *not* delete. If they delete their accounts, their usernames go back into circulation.
@AnneTheWriter @knottedthreads it is my understanding that they can lock their accounts. Once done they can leave the hate fest and have nothing more to do with it. If there is no traffic there is no Twitter.
