President Lula announces the federal government of #Brazil will intervene and implement “any measures necessary” to restore order to the capital.
President Biden has been asked during his tour of the US-Mexico border his reaction to what’s happening in Brasilia. His answer was inaudible to pool reporters due to shouts from staff members to the journalists to get moving. (This unfortunately is a regular occurence when the president is responding to correspondents outside of a news conference during every administration I’ve covered).
@w7voa Could his answer possibly have been substantive? It was surely some version of "it's bad". Why do people ask these things at all?
