The thing about this corruption and criminality—George Santos, Clarence Thomas, Rudy Giuliani, Trump—is that it’s so obvious. So brazen. As if there’s no need to hide it.

@StevenBeschloss The real problem is that there appear to be no consequences. It’s only going to keep happening more and more until people go to jail, have their money and property confiscated, and can’t show their faces for fear of repercussions.
