@rbreich capitalism is a free market where companies can set prices according to supply and demand, can we agree on that? So instead of posting inflammatory statements calling out companies for doing what they were designed to do (make the most money possible) can you be constructive and ask for government regulation of prices or monopolies? Saying "this rude business tried too hard to make money" over and over again is not going to help us.
@jonahbk @rbreich my point is you keep saying you want to break up monopolies and that prices are dictated by supply and demand, but you don't address the actual problem which is *already very illegal*: cartels. It's not that it needs to be *more illegal*, it needs to be investigated and prosecuted.
@lavahot @rbreich what point are you making by pointing out that distinction? Is the solution not the same (regulation to break up oligopolies)?
