In the USA the recommendation has been 0.8 grams per kilogram, so you just confessed your weight to the world!
But uh... you're probably using the bogus figures the latest scam artists put out. Among other disastrous health advice the Nazis running the USA have been spouting the past year and a half, in 2026 the USDA changed dietary guidelines to recommend 1.2 to 1.6 grams per kilogram, which is 150% to twice as much protein. Now I'm not saying that their torture murder fetish is why they're pushing a heavy meat diet, but they sure do hate those persnickety "woke" vegans, and make a lot of money stealing our money to throw it at cattle ranchers.
So whether you're 220 pounds or 110 pounds, you'll have to be more specific about what you're "supposed to" eat. My advice is you should eat more protein if your muscles are atrophying.
