Pulled up yesterday's cathedral service and was a bit jolted at the shift from organ music to contemporary. my pagan husband just burst into "It's not unusual to find drums inside your church" a la Tom Jones.
Then we remembered my mom relating that she didn't like going to the church across the river because -- and her face wrinkled up at this -- "They have *banjos* there."

@helenheath possible exception is bagpipes, depending on the size of your church… do the rubrics offer any guidance on this, like “if your church can seat 100, there shalt no bagpipes play”
