Greetings. A quick reminder that the adorable Siamese Snowshoe kitty that adorns many of my posts (a technique to avoid automatically showing random images from target pages when sharing links) is named "Leela" -- after the companion named Leela from the only real "Doctor Who" (Tom Baker). Like her namesake, my Leela (or am I hers? With cats this can always be argued of course), is intelligent, beautiful, and sometimes ... lethal. -L
@lauren I had just about forgotten that once upon a time, the Doctor's companions were occasionally warrior women from a devastated group of survivors in the future, and not just cheeky ladies from near-modern-times Bristol.
