When you stumble across a wonderful old sleazy B movie on #YouTube that clearly was uploaded from a videocassette copy that had been through at least a dozen generations and is loaded with audio AGC breathing and buzz, and has just barely enough sync left to be viewable at all.

All extant copies (including the one MST3K had used) were archived VHS from network broadcast on schlock-night horror shows.
A storage unit auction in Florida kicked out the original 16mm workprint. So suddenly, clean copies were possible. Updated Blu-Ray came out in 2015.
