Community, like democracy, is messy, slow, and complicated. Dictatorships are far easier, the trains always run on time, but... unsustainable in every way. You have to be willing to do the work.
@codinghorror This anecdote is always funny to me in light of the fact that the German occupation of Norway in World War II almost immediately kicked off a rail strike. ;)
