I'm in a lot of video meetings and dailies at the moment.

Usually, I use my iPhone camera -- but if I continue to hop in and out of video calls and remote pairing, say, 3x a day, I wonder how much my iPhone battery will suffer from the load.

Is it time to get a dedicated web cam? :(

@ctietze Why not plug your phone in when you are using it at the desk?

@natharari I am running it "wired".

I noticed that after e.g. 2h of video call, the battery didn't charge, but deplete instead. Could be power management trickery (like the "load to 80%" rule), or indicator that I'm not giving it enough power for sustained video 🤔

@ctietze I honestly don't know. I just use my ipad cam or macbook pro and I've never had issues. 😕
