@markwitton A couple of very interesting articles there! While most of the discussion was on the lifestyle of the beast and it's own hunting methods I'm interesting in how a creature that shape existed vis-a-vis it's own predators. Were there simply no large carnivores at the time (or place) as otherwise they would seem 'easy meat' for anything that could get a neck bite in and they don't look like they could run all that quickly. A heron-like lifestyle is great if you can fly away!
