Tried to introduce my 10yo to computing with the terminal. She does not find it cool at all.
So what Desktop Environment should I install for her so it is really cool and she can customize it with colours and images (while keeping it really simple).
I currently have for her a not-too powerful laptop so I simply apt-getted XFce. Maybe there are themes for it?

Plasma is lightweight as XFCE these days and it is very easy to install and apply global themes from System Settings > Look and Feel. Than one can tweak each part.
