@post Okay I've read through it. It talked about how qoto.org was removed from the directory on joinmastodon.
But qoto.org isn't blocked by mastodon.social. It's your account that is blocked specifically. The article does not explain that right?

Another major problem is that depending on the instance you are on you will see different posts. For example try to open posts by people from different instances in the browser from their instances. Often you will see more comments. This annoys people with a lot of followers because they get comments from different people asking the same thing because they can't see each others.
It's a problem of ActivityPub that I highlighted for the first time years ago but people keep saying how cool and lightweight AP is etc. Matrix.org is designed to not have these problems but it's way more complex and people can't understand that we usually wrap complexity behind libraries and framework, so they just don't see Matrix as an alternative at all.

Regarding the issue of not loading all posts in a branched conversation. I encountered it a few days ago and have written about it here https://mastodon.social/@nhan/110222576212477948. It really sucks because there's no indication that I'm missing replies so I can switch to the original server.
My account indicated as "suspended" probably means I am silenced or blocked or some other kind of measure but it is intentionally not clear as a consequence of control mania by Mastodon CEO
Anyway Qoto is a fork of Mastodon that diverged in the development and it uses standard ActivityPub like everyone else in the Fediverse.
I consider mastodon.social, mastodon.art and some others like walled gardens inside the Fediverse and they are fooling people into believing that only what they approve exists.
@post @nhan@mastodon.social your account appears as "suspended" from my mastodon account. And it only happens with your account but not others from qoto.org (see pictures).
