I just merely pointing out the flaw in your logic.
bad = "Lack of productivity program"
Good = "had a lots of productivity program"
Ubuntu > "literal debian with some added repos"
Debian > "can be literal ubuntu with a bit of a tweak"
the reason > "want an os with a good amount of productivity stuff and doesn't care about prioprietary stuff"
By that reason then the most logical thing to do is used windows or mac os.
