@MATAK79 I’ve used a GPT model to assist in therapy under the supervision of my therapist.

It’s an incredibly helpful journaling tool that can often help me see multiple sides of a situation and most importantly it remembers the ebb and flow of my week so when I go to a session I can get a summary of things I’ve experienced that week that have since faded.

AI as a therapist is a terrible idea, but as a therapeutic aid, there is a space for it.

Bleak Future -- Regarding the GPT Model you are using (and you might know much more about this than I do) -- are you able to use a local open source model running on a local server or desktop and not connected to the Internet?

@reederm @MATAK79 I do both but I dont do anything personal on an internet connected bot.

That’s all running locally.

"All running locally"

EXCELLENT.

I will hold space for that unlikely future day when a highly secure company comes along, fearing significant and expensive govt. sanctions, run not by tech bros but by people who care.

Otherwise, let's keep it local.
