Ghost hoaxing was a thing in Ballarat in the late 1800s, especially around cemeteries. Defacing faces or vandalising graves with “glow in the dark paint”

It is ironic to read that those defacing the memorials and graves to scare others, became symbols of death by something that was going to kill them. Via @ABC
