Here's a #Mastodon specific question: How are folks able to do long posts?
I've seen some with a long post content warning that use way more than the 500 characters I seem to be limited to.

qoto.org has a 65k character limit. Others may have longer ones, also. It is dependent on the server.
Qoto also allows Markdown and Latex.
