#legal #TrumpIndictment

2/ Hallerman:

The Fulton indictment alleges that Meadows was involved in roughly a half-dozen predicate acts under the state's racketeering statute. Among them: visiting a Cobb County audit of absentee ballots and allegedly texting a GA employee about using Trump funds to covera Fulton audit

Meadows' team argued yesterday that all of the predicate acts listed in the indictment occurred under the color of Meadows' role as Trump's chief of staff

@GottaLaff Or to paraphrase Richard Nixon, "If the Chief of Staff does it, it's not a crime."🙄

@TomShafShafer @GottaLaff
I feel like there is a legit question that isn't being pursued there. If DJT told him to rob a bank, would that be covered? Hire a hitman? Heck, act as a hitman?

Overthrow a government?

Where is the line, under Mr. Meadow's theory?

@GottaLaff @dingodog19 @TomShafShafer

Or rape? Trump has been found liable for rape this year. When Vivek says he would pardon Trump, my question would be is that limited to crime in the past or does it include future crimes? Would that include future sexual assaults?
