We are watching a crime thriller where a fugitive mother is on the run with her daughter. They're hiding out in a hotel in Greece.

The police are closing in and they call the hotel security asking about the guests. After confirming with the police that the people they are looking for are there, the security person starts to have pity on the mother and daughter and calls the room and said the police just called and are looking for you. Thought you might want to know.

The fugitive mother: thanks!

There was something oddly satisfying about the security person taking it upon herself to wrench it for the police then being able to lie under pressure when the police accuse her of tipping the fugitive off.

Would I be able to lie so well under such pressure. 😁🤞
