Those who still have the attention span
to read such an article
don't need to read it.
Those who need to read such an article have an attention span of a TikTok or instagram video, and believe that Fox News is news and not propaganda.
Tried to get through to someone who used to be in the LA artsy/burner crowd and went deep red in Arizona.
Can't get through to them without them getting offended when you remark that Idiocracy has become a documentary.
@quinn
It's not so much an intelligence problem, but a SNDR
[signal to noise and distortion ratio] problem,
in other words:
The zone is flooded with shit.
The cancel button as knee jerk reflex to context collapse doesn't help, either.
@quinn
The actual problem is described in a German article:

[Google Translate is your friend — I checked]
Then again, for you,

@tatzelbrumm on my reading list!
@tatzelbrumm I do actually hate the "Idiocracy" line. We live in the Flynn effect; and ideological opponents are rarely dumb, but sometimes evil. It's better to ask why people aren't paying attention rather than assume they're too deficient to do so. The answers are much more useful.
