but here, what happened to my favored team? but a hard win for the opponent team basing on the runs and an incredible intercept there by jake of the yankees although he might be slightly injured

what is happening to the yankees some trouble with their pitching that they seem to be that generous rangers are hitting a bunch of favorable pitches with ease for a slam?

that's what i call a combination of solid defensive play and shattering batting offensive! yankees win in a fierce run standing against a hard team (i'm not supposed to toot anything today but this got me)

remembering ozamis city through this song. back in our elementary school years we started training in baseball in december. it was in the summer month of may that an interschool playoff to be hosted in that city, it was on a sunday that we arrived there and in that mess hall where all athletic delegates came to eat together, there was this public address system that entertained all the guests with visayan songs... (through the years, it still lingers in my memory)

against the blue jays this time and the yankees win convincingly (aaron boone is justified in his protest against the umpire calling it a strike despite the ball is too low for a strike)

(time now for...)
that time Alice was somewhat emotional in sharing to me how she spent a part of her childhood in Sitangkai, how much she has missed that beautiful island. her mother descended from a Muslim family, her father from the Visayas had some Chinese blood in his veins. sadly, her father died while alice was still growing up together with her younger siblings then later their mother departed this world, passing to her the responsibility of a very young single parent with the help of her aunts and uncles. they would later move to western part of mainland Mindanao in her adolescent years to become a beautiful Zamboanguena (although it's more politically correct to use the word Zamboangueno but i wanted to emphasize her femininity, a girl who became a woman, a parent for her younger siblings, so early in life)
