Iran has abolished its morality police after months of protests set off by the death of Mahsa Amini, a young woman who was arrested over the strict Islamic dress code. Hope this leads to significant change—we’ll have to wait and see!

Twitter has reversed a 10-year old suspension of neo-nazi Andrew Anglin (Daily Stormer editor). I really hope either Mastodon or another Twitter substitute can flourish because I don't think anyone should be on the bird site now.

So here's the thing. You can only violate people's legal rights and your own word so far before they lawyer up and come after you.

I really do hope Musk changes his mind and does the right thing - the employees deserve that. But it'll be fun as hell if he doesn't.
