A new law marks a shift for Spain, recognizing its government's role to play in reviving the memory of all the victims of Spain’s dark years. As many as 15,000 Spaniards were deported to Nazi concentration camps during the #Holocaust. New efforts are also underway to mark the victims with memorials.
