What an interesting thing to collect! I would not have thought of it. Am boosting to enhance your chances of encountering another enthusiast.

It's amazing the kinds of things that people can get interested in enough to start collecting and then wind up in one of three or four organizations that spring up organically. Just did a quick search and, sure enough, there's at least one Coleman collectors' association.

I don't think there's a club for this one yet, but I somehow managed to wind up with a small collection of vintage shoe clips. I won't bore you with the story of how that came to be, but it's a good example of how somebody can accidentally go from being a normal person to a collector. 😉
