Aeropress has really ruined coffee shops for me.

I used to love going to Starbucks. I would spend hours there sipping coffee and reading a book.

Now whenever I go, I think, "My coffee at home is miles better than this mud drink!"

And before all of you go, "There's better coffee shops than Starbucks" -- point taken.

I've been to very good coffee shops with incredible single origin coffee.

I'm taking nothing away from those coffee shops.

However, even *those* coffee shops are not a match for my Aeropress.

If you've never tried an Aeropress, let me tell you, it does something to coffee that's fundamentally different from a drip or a French press.

It makes coffee taste clean but also thick.

You really get different dimensions going.

When I go Aeropress, I make my coffee black just so I can really enjoy the complexity of the flavours.

Also, I prefer light roast with sour notes.

I use mine to do cold-brewed. Works great!
