I have not one but two portable power bricks. Watch, iPad, little iPad, phone, laptop, handheld game console, and three sets of Bluetooth headphones/earbuds (used in different ways so I need all three to be available). One acts as a big-ass battery for when I travel. This is how we know we are modern!

Yours is the approach I've gradually learned to adopt. If somebody says something interesting that makes me reflect on something, I follow whether I agree or not. If somebody follows me, I follow. If somebody shows up brand-new and wonders what's going on, I follow. It's caused some near-magical encounters. Not having my focus guided by unknown algorithms has made this place come to life for me in ways I would not have expected or guessed.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

While I have your attention, the majority of the parliament of Iran voted to sentence all the arrested protestors (almost 15,000 people so far) to death. There’s so much more we could be doing to help, eg removing Iran from the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women, launching independent investigations into HR violations, freezing assets of regime family members. I've just discovered that Apple's Notes application has a bias towards Sanskrit. If I type "dhamma,'' it always tries to auto-correct to "dharma." What's wrong with these people?

No argument against that proposed usage, though I am curious as to what you mean by the meaning of whiteness shifting. Do you mean like how Italians went from non-white to white, or Semitic peoples the same, and such? Thanks!

Just want to add that I know it’s easy to hate on journalists, but we are people from all walks of life. Personally, I love thinking about social products and features, that’s why I write about communication technology. I appreciate everyone’s feedback and I hope ppl understand that I’m not trying to “ruin” anything by sharing my personal opinions on features. It’s ok to disagree!
