I'm getting a reputation here at #Mastodon as some kind of Ronco Boost-O-Matic™. And I appreciate that, seriously.

But I'm really struggling with certain posts. These are often newsworthy, interesting or just plain funny-as-shite toots. Except... they contain links back to #Twitter.

We need to stop giving #SpaceKaren any more click revenue to keep that Effin' Bird on life support.

I must confess, I’m struggling with the 500 character and spaces limit and trying saying anything more detailed with that amount. I resource to abbreviation, numbers and ampersands. Still… The 500 limit is only about 1 paragraph. That’s funny coming from Twitter with a smaller limit, but has the ability to chain posts in a thread. I know some instances allow more space, although I hate to change instances. I like it here. Does anyone have suggestions, or maybe instances that have bigger limits?

Looking through old images I came across this one I took in 2010 in the Grand Canyon, back when I lived in the US.
