I find myself using Visual Studio Code more than Notepad++ locally. Been using Notepad++ since 2009. Back in 2021 was shown Visual Studio Code for Skyrim's Papyrus scripting language. At work use Visual Studio Code for Terraform and other items. Microsoft did a good job with this editor and opening it up for plugins/extensions I have to say. On my personal computer I still have both installed. Unfortunate given all the times I have spent with Notepad++
