Puzzles me why teams building platform for first time often undervalue what it will take for users to migrate to their platform. Most users of the platform will migrate to the new platform from a legacy solution of some kind, manual or software or some combination of it. Adoption is king when you are in the platform building business and the way to maximize adoption is to understand and build along those migration paths when its in development and not when one is struggling to get adoption.
