It is not true that only a subset of the immunocompromised or a subset of the Long Haulers has viral persistence. A preliminary analysis of the papers in this compilation (data up to July 2021) 🧵1/6

@xabitron1 how do you stop the transmission?
@denis89196880 NPIs -- air filtration/purification, de-crowding, international collaboration, stopping mass tourism, masking, isolation centers, pay leave and support of families, testing, control of outbreaks with mass testing and isolation of infected.
All with strict regulations until community transmission stops.
Either that or we are heading to global catastrophe.

Preventing reinfections still needs to be a priority. People contracting COVID multiple times a year, forever, can't be the way forward.
@BE @VengefulArzt @xabitron1 BOSSHE - In my opinion, the reason for the surge is that vaccinees now serve as an asymptomatic reservoir for RSV and other viral infections. https://twitter.com/GVDBossche/status/1594425764228857856
@BE @VengefulArzt @xabitron1 IN countries with low vaccination rates, the problem of children does not exist, therefore it is impossible to stop infections, they are within them ...
@BE @VengefulArzt @xabitron1 1) study Bossche 2) make comparisons with countries with low vaccination rates 3) The bill fits perfectly https://www.voiceforscienceandsolidarity.org/scientific-blog/it-is-5-past-12
@BE @VengefulArzt @denis89196880 I agree. We have to stop transmission, for the safety of all.
