Just because something is well known in the scientific community does not mean that it is well known in the non-scientific community. We need to continue to flood the science market with good evidence-based practices and ideas and couple it with good #scicomm so that we get policymakers and community members to hop on board.

@jabarocas I talk about this to people in my life a lot. Scientists are not usually good communicators to non-scientists in general. It's a place we could really use better skills.
