How do you deal with people you care about still telling you about their #covid spreading activities?
With them saying "I'm being careful" and then going out unmasked? With them saying "I care about you" and then visiting a busy event?
And with them totally not understanding that joining in on #covid19 spreading is not being careful, is not caring about you, but is actually making the world an unlivable place?
All replies, advice, experiences, discussions welcome.

@begrudging_recluse @novid My sister recently posted a photo on our family Slack showing her babysitting her granddaughter at the library unmasked.
She had me over for dinner recently without mentioning that she'd attended a wedding unmasked a few days before and that someone else at the wedding subsequently came down with COVID. Then SHE came down with COVID. 1/2

The scientists I know are some of the worst when it comes to protecting themselves and I can't wrap my head around it. My college mentor and I have discussed this quite a few times this past year as they've dropped off of the precautionary bandwagon one by one.
Will they wear their goggles and gloves in the lab? Yes. Always.
Will they put on head to toe PPE to enter a lab that requires it for safety? Yes. Always.
Will they put on a mask to go into a grocery store? No.
It's often left me feeling like I'm the crazy one, but, thankfully, I have at least some family and friends who still get it and follow through.
Stay safe out there!
