After CVS told me Friday that the COVID test I took Thursday was lost, the NC Department of Health emailed me today to inform me that I tested positive on 03/08 and to continue masking through today. The tests I have told me I was negative. The test I took today was almost instantly positive. I’m completely asymptomatic. I was around people at the showroom today, one of whom is pregnant. We are three years into this shit and the authorities still have no fucking clue what they’re doing. 😡

I give you tons of credit for trying to do the right thing, at least. The whole thing's, obviously, a giant mess at this point.

I haven’t had any symptoms since last Wednesday and they were very mild. But still. I took the test because mom asked me to before I came up here to work in the showroom at her office. CDC says today is the last day I have to mask.
Like… what about all the people in that crowded restaurant I ate at Saturday?
