Heading into fourth year of online school for my child, and I still am a muddled mess of pride in how well she has done, anger at the school system at how badly they failed to teach her anything when she was under their care, and anger at the jurisdiction's obtuse refusal to implement any any covid protections. But mostly, pride. My kid has THRIVED with all the extra one-on-one attention. She is capable of FAR more than they thought she was, and she is shining! The pandemic is awful, awful, awful, but my kiddo is a STAR! In person schooling is NOT the best fit for everyone! #CovidIsNotOver

Yes to all of this. For different reasons, but my kids are thriving in online school as well. I've been very vocal about how great it's been for them. We've become such believers that my wife moved from brick and mortar, into a hybrid system and then into exclusively virtual teaching as she saw the potential, and can't imagine ever going back into the brick and mortar classroom now.

Huge congratulations for your kid and their success!

@BE that is fantastic! I think a lot of parents are being gaslit too, and struggle from time to time wondering if they really are doing what is best for their children. I REALLY appreciate voices like yours continuing to speak out in support of how great online school can be for many! Yay for all of us!
