Kids were not isolated for 2 years. Schools in Canada were closed for between 9 and 19 weeks in 2020-2021, depending on the province. Ontario and PEI schools were closed the longest. Quebec schools were closed for 9 weeks. Summer holidays are ~10 weeks.
