Just gotta say - if the EU gets sideloading on Apple but the US doesn't - that'll be the end of my Apple purchases. The final straw, as it were.

I love my iPad. It's pretty, fast, does neat things. The biggest flaw is having to get permission to run what I want (retro game emulators, plus maybe a shell) from apple like I'm 6 years old. It's a computer, dammit - let me use it like one.
