While I'm here might as well fix this one before it breaks too!

If one broke it's a good idea to inspect the others and look for weaknesses like this:

@Blenster Lucky it held this long and good luck finding a match if it hadn’t! Machines will never completely replace humans, not for sewing buttons anyway.

@HandgunYoga the first one had already broken and was gone before I was given the shirt; luckily it had a pair of spare buttons on one of the tails. The second one was halfway gone though.

@Blenster I learned working at Fruit of the Loom that robot sewing machines would be the last kind of industrial robot developed if ever. Human dexterity remains unmatched. And I learned from Mom that flat-sewn buttons should be cut off before the first washing and properly reinstalled with button thread and a matchstick spacer. I use a set of heavy needles for sewing leather just to find eyelets big enough for my Coats & Clark.
