@MakeAugusta The father of a college friend of mine was a chemist. When he was young, he remembered going to a ball game and going to the bathroom. Another guy came up to a urinal and his dad asked him if he was a chemist. He said "yes" and they had a brief conversation about chemistry etc etc. My friend asked his dad how he knew. "because he washed his hands before peeing."
