Let Me Introduce Myself-

I'm the Organizing Director for All On The Line. I focus on fair redistricting and preventing gerrymandering.

I've been advocating on the topic of veterans' health for over a decade. I am a fundraiser/volunteer with Team Rubicon, and I'm an alumni of the Veteran Organizing Institute.

I live in North Carolina with my family. I have two children, two dogs, and a wonderful wife. We enjoy nature through hikes and kayaking.

I hope you join me on my journey with Mastodon.

Someone asked me if it was worth losing a quarter million followers on Twitter by no longer posting original content.

Yes.

Besides the fact that I will never jeopardize my mental health for a social media account, it's a safety issue.

Two years ago, the FBI made an arrest after a serious threat was made against my family on Twitter. I no longer believe Twitter would assist an investigation if that occurred again.

I'm not feeding into that platform because of the hate it is fostering.

According to text messages ex-Gov. Bryant filed in court, Brett Favre told him on Jan. 26, 2020, that he "just messaged Tate."

But the Favre texts Reeves' office turned over don't begin until Jan. 27. We've asked about the discrepancy. No reply yet.

The State is suing Brett Favre and dozens of others as part of a civil suit attempting to claw back tens of millions in misspent funds.

We have an exhaustive timeline exploring how $5 million in Temporary Assistance For Needy Families funds went to build the volleyball facilities at USM just as Brett Favre's daughter began a volleyball career there.

It includes dozens more text messages: mississippifreepress.org/27903

Here's a copy of the public records request I sent Gov. Tate Reeves' office when I was seeking these text messages.

His office requires public records requests to be made via snail mail—no emails allowed. So it seemed fitting to write it on a typewriter.
