This is getting ridiculous.
OISST provides a real-time daily index of ocean surface temperature (60 S - 60 N). For the last month it has been continuously reading higher than in any previous year and still shows no sign of settling.

Hard to celebrate holidays in the middle of so much sorrow - war, the hungry, the freezing, the wounded, people burning clothes to warm up, people shipped across the country with no clothes, covid, crowded airports risking to become superspreaders.
Peace is human right, freedom is human right, warmth is human right, food is human right, safety is human right, health is human right. No amount of holiday lights & decorations can cover up this tremendous suffering of lack of basic rights for all.
