Hi I'm excited to announce that I've been awarded a permanent research position at starting next year! I'll move back to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where at INQUIMAE I'll be developing new robust platforms for electro- and photoelectrochemical CO2 reduction, based on hybrid materials. My research will be focused on fundamental aspects, such as interfacial and lateral ET and PCET transfer processes, electric fields, and tayloring the microenvironment of the molecular catalysts in order to get more stable, durable, reproducible, as well as sustainable, hybrid materials!

On the other hand... yesterday's win represents one of the highest points, as I become impossible to stand with through my ineloquent, incoherent and totally mental fanatism for Argentina in the World Cup. VAMOS CARAJO! Ps. I lost my voice screaming last night.

A key thing I've learned about Mastodon: When you find people you know and want to keep up with, don't just follow them — add them to a list!

Merely following is not enough, b/c their posts may not show up in your feed at a time you're logged on. Unlike FB or Twitter, Mastodon has no algorithm to resurface your friends' posts from hours or days ago.

So create a list called "Friends" and check it when you're on. This will ensure that you see what they posted while you were away.

#Introducing my lab to the #chemiverse. We are interested in complex chemical networks and in the synthesis of functional organic materials. Most studies make use of original #suprachem 🧩 . #ercfunded, #chemistry, www.deliusgroup.net

I have a PhD studentship available in collaboration with GSK, with a nominal start date of Oct. 2023. This project will look at catalyst activation processes in homogeneous nickel catalysis.

Closing date is 14th January 2023. Funding restrictions mean that it is unlikely that non-UK applicants can be considered.

Hi , maybe you've realized this too, but certainly in the last 2 months the amount of chemistry tweets in my Twitter feed has decreased significantly, simply to give more space to 'likes' and 'follows' tweets irrelevant to ; unfortunately, there are not journals/publishers who've adopted Mastodon as a communication platform (yet), or at least I cannot find any of the most relevant (ACS, Nature, Wiley, etc.)... Have you noticed the same? Any suggestions?

Following my , after working up a reaction and considering this weekend is going to be a rainy one, I called it a day and went for a ride up to the Prades Mountains in Tarragona, probably the last one of 2022 and my stay here 🤧
