I gave a talk yesterday during which I spoke briefly about how Russian state propaganda shaped the broader coverage of the far-right Canadian truck convoy last winter, and I presented these two charts showing media coverage of the convoy. Russian propaganda outlet RT is the orange line with the earliest and highest spike in volume — indicating that RT dominated coverage during the crucial early weeks of the convoy, and likely set the narrative for other media outlets to follow. 1/
