@bluesenthused @Long_live_rock_n_roll I've been trying to find #GerryMcAvoy book "Riding Shotgun" here in the US at a reasonable price and finally found one. That book is literally in the 100's of dollars range here. It must be an import-only book since I could find it with UK booksellers at a reasonable price, but the shipping charges, well, you know.
@Dimestorehalo I think I have seen this back in the day. Maybe Sight and Sound In Concert or Rock Goes To College? S&SIC was broadcast on BBC2 and BBC radio at the same time. Good to see it again
@edcruwys There's a number of archival video available from the BBC. Being in the US, my only option was seeing him live, in those pre-internet days.

I was lucky to see him live in 1979 at Cascais.
@fonecokid @Long_live_rock_n_roll I saw him 3 times on US tours. It was at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, which took your tickets so I never got a souvenir. 😪
