IP lawyer folks, I'm curious (for non-professional reasons). On the topic of copyright protection for game rules as such have there been any legal developments since the Bang!/Legends of the Three Kingdoms litigation back in 2014?
State of law as I recalled it was generally only literal words, art, etc. were protected *but* there was movement that a suit against a comprehensive clone of another game could at least survive SJ.

I need to cite my own article for something I'm writing. I'm positive I've heard that self cites require a special citation. So, what's the special rule for bluebook citing a secondary source you wrote yourself?
I can't find it, and now I've misplaced my bluebook too. :(
