Bought new #plants for my #aquarium. Rinsed them well and was assured by the sellers the plants were grown in a #snail free environment.

And now this. So far just the one.

I already have an adult #neritesnail. This is a small freshwater aquarium with a single beta fish so I hope there is enough algae to support the baby. I already add the occasional algae disk. I’ll have to watch closely to make sure we don’t need more.

Goodby lovely Pyrex baking dish. You served me well, before shattering in my hand, giving me a small cut and making dinner prep difficult.

There is probably a life lesson there, but I don’t know what it is.

Ari is a six year old tri-colored (black, white and tan) miniature Australian shepherd who loves posing for the camera. This photo is from last winter, because we haven’t had snow yet here. She loves frolicking in the snow and can’t wait for this year’s weather to start.

This is Radar at the top of a 5-foot tall cat tree. He likes high places, even though he can’t see they are high. He still doesn’t want to fall! He climbs down the cat tree backwards because he can’t see where to jump.

Someday I will get a good pic or video, it is amazing and should be shared. Not having eyes doesn’t slow him down a bit!

I just can’t wrap my head around that. I know, we’re trying to talk about how strong we are and how good we can be to each other, but I keep thinking of the #climatecrisis and #wealthgap and #biodiversityloss and yet we keep making more people. I want to be proud and strong but I think I’m mostly just worried.
