I’m trying really hard not to be selfish about it but what my family plan to do for my 30th is being dictated by the fact my niece won’t eat anything but plain burgers and it means we’ll probably go to a restaurant I hate

@littlesunbear sometimes, just sometimes, even nice people have (gently) to put their foot down. This is one of those times. Choose *your* restaurant, invite *your* guests. Maybe offer to take your niece out for a “special” day with you another time if you are fond of her, so she doesn’t feel obliged to come.

And I wish you a wonderful birthday.
