Thing is, calling it an A/E crisis is an understatement. It’s just that A/E are the best at speaking up.

Every time hospitals are on opel4 or whatever it’s locally called, operations are cancelled and patients don’t get treatment they need, etc etc

It’s not just Covid. It’s not just flu.
Yes we have 16 ambulances queued outside and patients on trolleys in the main hospital corridor but at the same time 3 of our operating theatres are down - because since 2010 we haven’t been spending money to maintain air handling kit. Just like we haven’t invested in social care. This crisis has a long prelude.
