Very Good News.

India is big, has plans of plans. India prepares and announces governmental actions so the private sector and states can coordinate.

India's electricity is 75% coal, and their five year plan continued that.

BUT Yesterday India announced, it "will not consider proposals for new coal plants for the next five years and focus on growing its renewables sector"

Will Not Consider New Coal.

Most populous country on earth will not consider new coal.

The world thanks India.

Due to India's climate, India should be thanking India.

@Empiricism_Reloaded

I have heard of jurisdictions passing laws to keep atmosphere and wind from crossing borders, keep climate chaos to from the shores of wealthy naions, haven't worked.

On being induced to act by climate shocks, Canada watched 619 BCers die on their floors and beds from the heat of the day, bridges washed away, billions in repair from weekend storm.

300 out of control forest fires choking out NYCity hundreds of kilometers away, and Trudeau's still building oil a big pipe.

@kevinrns

Do you mean to say that the world "leaders" are failing to mitigate climate change?

Here is a more general solution that people can do (if the "leaders" get their heads out of their bank balancers). qoto.org/@Empiricism_Reloaded/
